The last 2 Mondays never failed to surprise me, last week I lost my ipod and my mobile phone, today as I opened my email I was struck surprised by the subject of one message. I think my computer runs on diesel engine because it takes time before it could be used at any decent rate, to heat up so to say. This particular message came from someone from my college org thru our yahoogroup account. The subject was asking us to pray for the soul of a certain alumna I happen to know and shared time in school with. It was surreal, as my computer wasn’t being cooperative I had to wait for about 30 minutes before I opened the actual email. In a state of shock all I could do was ask ‘why?’ and ‘what happened?’.
Blanks were drawn as nobody could really tell us what the cause of death was; in any case it’s a sad sad event when you loose people among your ranks. It’s a cold bucket of water splashed to your face (a slushy in gleek terms), reality sucker punching you. The realities of life rudely interrupting a routinely run world where events such as what had happened is simply unimaginable. Now I feel so fragile.
Madness! We keep fighting, fight, rage against the dying of the light…God help us all.
Personalization just got better.
